ti consiglio una GTX 460 dell'NVIDIA, la puoi trovare a 130 euro. Se hai più soldi a disposizione allora punta su una 570.

prova ad aggiornare il driver della scheda video,

poi prova a disintallare java e reinstallare la versione ultima: 1.7 (oppure se non va prova la 1.6_2)
